Yettel published ESG report for 2023
Belgrade, December 5 2024, – In 2023, Yettel received recognition as the leader of social responsibility in the ICT sector at the tenth Regional Conference on Trends in Telecommunications and Media – Digital 2023, and research by an independent Kantar agency showed that Yettel is perceived as the ecologically most responsible company in Serbia among all industry participants.
ESG report covers the annual results of a company in the sphere of sustainable business operations and social responsibility. This report is in line with e& PPF Telecom Group's strategy and mission to secure access to high-quality solutions to the largest number of people possible so they could live healthier, safer and more productive, where great attention is devoted to the protection of the human environment.
The goals of business success are reflected through the sustainability strategy, which is founded on four pillars – Human Environment, People, Technology and Transparency.
For the fifth year in a row, Yettel network won the acknowledgment “Best in Test” awarded by UMLAUT, a global company that tests and benchmarks the quality of mobile networks in over 120 countries of the world. In addition, our network is also 100% green, because it is fully supplied by electrical power from renewable sources.
By presenting the digital ecosystem, including Yettel application, products and services Yettel Friday, Yettel Shopping, Eco Bonus and Yettel Green tracks, as well as personalized messages for customers, Yettel has won bronze in the category of best digital customer experience at the International Customer Experience Awards – iCEXA23. Until the end of 2023, the company covered over halfway to achieving the goal of a million recycled devices. Apart from the option of e-bill, in cooperation with Yettel Bank, Yettel was the first to introduce paperless contract signing. With this, the use of paper has been significantly reduced, and in Yettel shops the process for customers is much quicker and simpler.

Yettel in Serbia is committed to nurturing an inclusive, diversified and fair working environment. Such a policy included the fight against prejudices and talent development program.
The participation of Yettel Foundation in different humanitarian drives is proudly emphasising, which aim to support the community and help those who need that help the most. In cooperation with UNICEF, through programs „Bridging the Digital Divide” and „Safety Net for Families”, it has improved internet connection in schools and improved the digital skills of 60,000 students, teachers and parents, while in 30 schools in Serbia learning clubs and digital technologies libraries have been established.
