Yettel has the best mobile Internet coverage
According to the research results of international company UMLAUT
Belgrade, September 1, 2023 – For a fifth year in a row, Yettel has won the
best network quality "Best in test" award by the international
technology company UMLAUT. UMLAUT is a global company that measures the quality
of mobile networks in more than 120 countries worldwide and uses an innovative
'crowdsourcing' methodology that shows a real user experience.
"Today, it's not enough to have a fast network. Flawless and continuous coverage is equally important. That is why we are exceptionally proud that we are getting the acknowledgment "Best in Test" at quality network benchmarking for the fifth year in a row. The last measurement by UMLAUT says that we have the best Internet coverage, both in the homes of our customers, as well as geographically, in the whole country. Our partners from the Mountain Rescue Service helped us to bring closer to citizens why is that important, because saving human lives often depends on whether you have a strong and stable signal," said Saša Leković, Yettel CTO.
Yettel is also the first 100% green network as it uses electrical power that fully comes from renewable sources, 100%ЗелЕПС.
We want our network to be sustainable, green but also secure, and we want to cover all aspects that make a network great for users. With us, they are safe in both the online and offline worlds. We mapped and marked walking and cycling trails throughout Serbia with the Mountain Rescue Service. They are part of the Yettel application, in the section called "Yettel green trails," and we have a service, "Safe Net," that protects mobile devices from the most common cyber threats, such as malware, phishing, and botnets," adds Leković.
