Strategic partnerships of Yettel and Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia
Belgrade,
June 9, 2022 – Today, Yettel and the Mountain Rescue Service have
signed a three-year strategic partnership contract. The signing was attended by
Mike Michel, Yettel CEO and Vladimir Pavlović, President of the Managing Board
of the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia.
“We all know how important
is the work of the Mountain Rescue Service and are thankful for all they
are doing. Yettel is a brand turned to balance, which for many people means
spending time in nature, engaging in sports or travelling. We wish to help our
citizens to be safe also at such times and that is why we have decided to
support the further work of the GSS. In order for the Mountain Service to
function in the best possible way, it requires a good, stable and fast network
such as ours, which for the last four years has won UMLAUT prestigious
acknowledgement Best in test. There is more noble objective than a wish
to save a human life and help”, said Mike Michel, CEO of Yettel.
In the next period GSS and Yettel will conduct
activities so as to promote spending time out in the open, in the safest
possible way.
“The whole outcome of the rescue sometimes depends on the speed of communication. We save human lives and know full well how in some situations every minute can be critical. That’s why the quality and reliability of communication is very important to us. We are looking forward to future cooperation with Yettel, and hope that with joint work we will succeed in increasing the safety of all climbers, skiers and recreationists”, said Vladimir Pavlović, President of the Managing Board of the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia.
