Health and safety at work
Yettel is systematically working to improve the working environment, raise safety and health awareness, and train its employees.
Risk assessment is performed to identify risks, dangers and harms to the health of employees and take preventive measures to achieve safe working conditions.
Occupational safety and health at Yettel include organizational, legal, technical, medical and social measures at work, as well as activities aimed at preventive action, i.e. reducing the risk to a minimum to prevent injuries and illnesses of employees.
Safe and healthy working conditions include the provision of such working conditions, which minimize the possibility of injury at work, occupational diseases, and work-related illnesses, and create preconditions for full physical, mental and social well-being of employees.
Communications and Sustainability Department participates in the preparation of the act on risk assessment for all businesses, as well as updating the existing one in case of changes in the level of risk in the work process, and also:
- Supervises, gives advice and suggestions to management in planning, selection, use and maintenance of means and equipment for safety at work;
- Participates in equipping and arranging the workplace to ensure safe and healthy working conditions;
- Organizes preventive and periodic examinations of working environment conditions;
- Proposes measures to improve working conditions;
- Monitors and controls the implementation of measures for safety and health of employees at work;
- Prepares and implements training of employees for safe and healthy work;
- Prepares instructions for safe operation and controls their application;
- Cooperates and coordinates work with the occupational medicine service in relation to all issues in the field of occupational safety and health;
- Prohibits work at the workplace or the use of funds in the event that it determines an imminent danger to the life or health of the employee;
- Keeps records in the field of safety and health at work;
- Cooperates with the Safety Committee on occupational safety and health issues in accordance with laws and other regulations.
