Yettel invites customers to recycle even more
Larger discounts for more recycled devices
Belgrade, February 1 – Yettel invites its customers to bring their mobile phones and additional equipment for recycling and thus contribute even more to the reduction of electronic waste in Serbia. Apart from phones, customers can bring for recycling headphones, tablets, modems, routers, MiFi modems, smart watches, Smartić watches, Bluetooth loudspeakers, laptops, or chargers.
“So far, together with our customers, we have recycled over 620 thousand devices, which is almost 60 tons of different electronic waste. We are constantly developing the program to motivate customers to recycle more, and all to recycle together one million devices by the year 2025”, said Dejan Marković, Consumer Segment Manager in Yettel.
If they bring their devices for recycling, customers get a discount when purchasing a new device. As of today, the amount of discount is growing with the number of recycled devices. For one device, a customer can get a discount of up to RSD 5.000, for two devices up to RSD 10.000, and for recycling three devices, the customer can realize a discount of up to RSD 15.000.
From November 2023, Yettel enabled paperless contract signing so that customers can find their contracts and bills in the Yettel application. In this way, the consumption of paper is significantly reduced and consequently a negative impact on the environment.
