PCs for IT cabinet of the Elementary School “Toplički heroji“ in Donje Crnatovo

Donje Crnatovo, September 2 - Computer cabinet equipped with modern PCs welcomed students of the elementary school “Toplički heroji" in Donje Crnatovo, near Žitorađa, on the first day of the school year.

At the invitation of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, Yettel Foundation donated ten desktop computers with accompanying equipment. On that Dejan Ristić, Minister of Information and Telecommunications, Goran Vasić, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Yettel, and Milica Begenišić, Yettel Foundation Manager, visited the school.

“Today, in digital era, high level of digital literacy and computer knowledge are necessary for everyday life. Development of digital literacy has been in our focus for more than ten years, and this donation is just another step on that road", said Goran Vasić.

According to the Minister, there are about 750 thousand students and around 100 thousand teachers in Serbia’s elementary and secondary schools.

“I am happy that the Ministry provided concrete support and by this act contributed to the promotion of schooling conditions of children in rural local self-government units”, pointed out Minister Ristić.
