“Fast and Safe” on Kopaonik with Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia and Yettel
Kopaonik, March 4 - The Mountain Rescue Service organized
the traditional ski race, “Fast and Safe”, which took place on the “Malo
jezero” ski track on the Kopaonik mountain. “Fast and Safe” is also the
universal rescue slogan that promotes a safe stay in nature, which is something
Yettel stands for as well. Yettel is a strategic partner of the Mountain Rescue
Service and was also the general sponsor of the race this time.
“This year, as in the previous years, we had
guests from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Romania.
There were twenty competitors in the tour race, while about 60 skiers
participated in the rescue race and the rescue boat lowering on the ‘Malo
jezero’ track,” said Igor Tonković, a rescuer at the Mountain Rescue Service of
Serbia.
The entire event was filled with positive
energy, accompanied by a large audience that watched the best skiers perform
their extraordinary moves.
Cooperation with ski school “Beosport”
In order to ensure a safe stay in nature for
their customers, in addition to the strategic partnership with the Mountain
Rescue Service of Serbia, Yettel has established cooperation with the ski
schools "Kop sport" on Kopaonik and "Čigota" on Zlatibor.
The founder of these two schools is the company "Beosport", which
primarily offers equipment for outdoor activities. These two ski schools are
among the largest in Serbia. Each season, more than 40 licensed ski instructors
train more than 5,000 students.
